The Wekesa Earth Center will partner with the Buffalo Olmsted Parks Conservancy to lead the Buffalo Eastside Teens In Frederick Law Olmsted Parks (BET In FLO) Program. 

BET In FLO will engage 20 teens (14-16 years) from the east side of Buffalo, New York, an area exhibiting significant nature gaps, with a 3-day overnight “Olmstedian Outdoor Experience" on July 13-15, 2025 at the Richardson Olmsted Campus.

This “Olmstedian Outdoor Experience” will provide a multi-site green space immersion to foster outdoor diversity and inclusivity; encourage nature belongingness and restoration; and advance planetary stewardship among the next generation of environmental champions.
