The Wekesa Earth Center leads and partners with a variety of organizations to hold events that align with its commitment to equity, justice and universal belongingness within the natural world.

These events may leverage on existing programs and actions, such as NatureRx@UMD, or they may develop through the ingenuity and synergy of partnerships.

Wekesa Earth Center events, such as forest bathing, a Ghost Ranch workshop or even a study abroad course in Kenya, will all serve the following purposes.

• Advance planetary stewardship

• Promote the restorative benefits of nature

• Advocate for equitable outdoor active living
